The Loyd Lindsay Rooms is the perfect budget wedding venue just outside Wantage. Sitting peacefully in the beautifully tranquil village of Ardington, the Loyd Lindsay Rooms is available for your wedding on an exclusive basis. We guarantee that you will have the entire venue to yourselves!
Every wedding at the Loyd Lindsay Rooms is as individual as you are! So, we don’t have set ‘packages’ but instead offer flexibility, working with you to create the day of your dreams.
Our Venue Manager has a wealth of experience in wedding planning and will provide as much, or as little help as you need to ensure that every aspect of your day is as you want it.
Seating up to 90 guests comfortably, the main hall can be transformed using marquee linings, uplighters and chair covers. The private patio courtyard can also be covered to provide a useable outdoor space – no matter what the weather! The Loyd Lindsay Rooms has an overall capacity of 150 guests across the whole of the building.
Food:
At the Loyd Lindsay Rooms you have the option of either using our inhouse Caterers, Corks & Canapes; our preferred outside Caterers, Complete Catering of Ardington or bringing in your own Caterers.
Corks & Canapes source their produce from local farmers and suppliers. Their menus are totally bespoke and include exciting vegetarian options and special dietary dishes, ensuring that you get exactly what you want on your special day. From canapés to evening buffets, Hog or Lamb Roasts or BBQ’s, Corks & Canapes are very flexible in their approach.
Complete Catering of Ardington, have vast experience and expertise in providing catering and event services for weddings. As well as traditional 3 or 4 course meals, we can also offer hot or cold fork buffets, cocktail buffets and many other lighter meal options. Drinks:
The Loyd Lindsay Rooms is licensed to sell alcohol and has a comprehensive selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available. Whilst we like to support local suppliers by stocking, for example, local ale from Bellingers Brewery, if there are specific drinks you would like, we are always happy to discuss this with you. Events & Event Planning:
The Loyd Lindsay Rooms is also the perfect venue for a party or family get-together. You can hire a couple of rooms or the whole venue – for the day or just for the evening! We have helped clients put together a variety of events from Barn Dances & Ceilidhs to Themed Parties.
